This versatile wide-angle prime for full-frame cameras is perfect for a wide range of photo and video applications, including environmental portraits, landscapes, night sky and street photography. The lens boasts an ultra-fast maximum aperture of F1.4, which ensures fast shutter speeds in lower light conditions, as well as a very shallow depth-of-field that helps isolate the subject from the background.
 
The advanced optical design includes two FLD, three SLD and three aspherical elements, which help reduce chromatic aberration and ensure pin-sharp images across the whole frame at all apertures. The lens also features a Hyper Sonic Motor (HSM) for fast and quiet autofocus, and a durable brass bayonet mount
