A FAST WIDE-ANGLE WITH INCREDIBLE OPTICAL PERFORMANCE 
 
This wide-angle prime lens designed for use with full-frame DSLR cameras combines superb image quality, excellent build quality and a fast F1.4 aperture. Used wide-open, the lens can produce a very shallow depth-of-field, and also fast shutter speeds in low light conditions.
 
The lens construction includes two FLD (F Low Dispersion) elements and four SLD (Special Low Dispersion) elements, which help to minimise chromatic aberration and distortion. The lens also features a Super Multi-Layer Coating to keep lens flare and ghosting to a minimum, and a rounded 9-blade diaphragm to produce beautiful, smooth bokeh. It has a Hyper Sonic Motor (HSM) for fast and accurate autofocus, as well as a manual focus override for greater control.
 
The lens is ideal for landscapes, street, travel, weddings and events, and thanks to its F1.4 aperture is perfect for environmental portraits.
